You are causative

You are causative.

I had to look that word up when I fist heard it a few years ago:

Causative – acting as a cause; producing (often followed by of ): a causative agency; an event causative of war.

Cause – a person or thing that acts, happens, or exists in such a way that some specific thing happens as a result; the producer of an effect: You have been the cause of much anxiety. What was the cause of the accident? – Dictionary.com –

Another way of saying it is, what you sow, you reap.

We live in a cause and effect world. If you plant corn you get corn. If you plant apples you get apples. If you plant discord you get discord. If you plant positive you get positive. If you add value to others, others add value to you.  – What you sow – you reap.

You have control over what you sow and therefore what you reap.

Not happy with the results. Consider the seeds you are sowing. You may need to sow different ones or plant more of the ones you desire. And attend to and nurture the seeds you’ve planted.

If you plant corn today, don’t expect to be eating corn for dinner tonight. It takes time.

What you’re reaping today is a result of what you planted and nurtured in the past.

Be excited. You are causative!

Be. Cause. – You can be the change you want to see.

  1. Wooo Hoooo!! Bring it on! I saw an old post this morning (from two years ago from kaelyn Benham) that said, Movement before stability is chaos. The Universal Law of Order. I liked that. Good reminder. I tend to MOVE! and just like planting that corn, and eating it in a few months, things take time. But we stay the course, keep our minds set on what we desire, and believe! Thanks, Robin!
