People who do not succeed

April 3, 2017 — 5 Comments

People who do not succeed have one distinguishing trait in common. They know all the reasons for failure and have what they believe to be air-tight alibis to explain away their own lack of achievement. – Napoleon Hill

It’s amazing how I tell myself convincing stories not based on truth and then do all that I can to defend them.

Success requires a winning mindset.

You’re a winner. A winner never quits and a quitter never wins.  It’s going to take time, It’s hard work but you can do it and it’s worth the effort. You have what it takes. We need what you have. You make a difference.

I believe in you!

Robin, you’ve done a great job on your blog. Very clear and easy to read. Great message too!

  3. How does one measure success. Is there a benchmark to measure the success of a person or is it based on how you set your goals. There are people who are complacent and they very easy to please. They’re not as aggressive as other people. They love to be simple. They do not want to get out of their comfort zone. But they’re happy with their stress-free environment. Can you blame them?

    • Hello Amelia! I think that’s a really good question! I do think you should develop a personal definition of success. I’ve heard different definitions and to me the best one I’ve found, I heard from John Maxwell. It says, success is 1) Knowing my purpose. 2) Growing to my maximum. 3) Sowing seeds that benefit others.
      What’s yours?
