More doing

The application of knowledge is key. Not knowledge in and of itself.

We all know the reason why and what it takes to stay in good physical shape. But how many of us are actually in good shape?

We all know that spending less than we make and putting away for a rainy day is sound financial advice. But?

At a recent conference a young lady asked Seth Godin to draw on his success and experience and share something with her that she as a young professional needed to know in order to achieve success. And he thought about about it for a quick moment as everybody in the audience was poised to write what we thought was going to be pearls of wisdom. And it was very wise words, but not along the lines of what we were thinking. Essentially he said, You don’t need to know anymore. “It’s about more doing not more knowing.”

Discipline is a differentiator.

Discipline: the ability to give myself a command and follow through with it.

What do we already know that we should be doing today?
