Do you believe?

One of the most important steps you can take in life is to increase your belief. If you don’t believe you can make a difference guess what? You won’t—no matter how talented you are, how many opportunities you receive, or how many resources you have at your fingertips. You have to believe. – Excerpt from the book, Intentional Living, by John C. Maxwell

This is true in all areas of your life and it’s an area that I have had to grow and continue to work on. Believing in myself. It makes all the difference on the tennis court. Around the conference table. Behind the podium. In the bedroom. When you’re by yourself. In all of your relationships and in all of your activities and tasks.

If you’re like me this is something you need to work on.

Here are a couple things you can do that will help you to build your belief:

  1. Make a list of all your good attributes and qualities. Add to that list over the next several days. Ask your loved ones, and those closest to you to share what they think are your good attributes and qualities.
  2. At the end of everyday, write down all of your accomplishments for that day. Brag on yourself. Don’t leave anything out. Even things like opening the door for a stranger or remaining quiet and listening when you wanted to talk. Everything.

I believe in you. Do you believe?
