Claiming our best is an attitude!
It’s an attitude of belief in ourselves. An attitude that causes us to invest the time, resources and effort to identify our strengths, our weaknesses and our passion and figuring out how we can use all of these together to best serve and add value to others. It’s about creating the vision for what it looks like to attain our highest good and taking action to make the vision a reality!
It’s about investing in our personal development. — an attitude of ‘I am worthy’.
It’s having the awareness and understanding that what we expect – we get!
- Expecting abundance to flow to and through us.
- Expecting to have the answers.
- Expecting that we are fully resourced to achieve our greatest potential.
The challenge is that we don’t just arrive at this place and stay there! Our attitude needs to be adjusted everyday and multiple times throughout the day. — This prayer sums it up well:
Dear Lord,So far today, I am doing all right. I have not gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or self-indulgent. I have not whined, cursed, or eaten any chocolate. However, I am going to get out of bed in a few minutes, and I will need a lot more help after that.Amen
The best way to adjust our attitude is to have an attitude of gratitude. Thinking about the good. Focusing on the positive. Focusing on our potential. Being thankful for who and whose we are. Being grateful for his abundance in our life. And seeing ourselves living into that successfully. Using our imagination to visualize what this looks and feels like for us. And holding this image until it becomes a reality.
When we practice this attitude in a community of other practitioners we place ourselves in fertile ground and our dreams have a better chance of becoming reality.
