By Faith?

By Faith Implies:

  • Belief and trust in God.
  • A heavenly focus.
  • An opportunity to demonstrate our trust and to glorify and please God.
  • Not having all the answers.  No guarantees.  Fear.  Risk.  Chance.
  • The odds may be against us.
  • There is an opportunity to step out, blaze the trail, lead and add value to others.
  • An open mind, humility, love, action, patience and perseverance.
  • Unity. Brotherhood. Being one in Spirit and purpose.
  • Choices we make.
  • Growth and the path to fulfillment of purpose.
  • Experiencing the power of God.

The more we act by faith… the more by faith, we will act. Yet what we do by faith is tested and challenged daily.

What are you doing… how are you living by faith?

I encourage and challenge you to make a list (and keep it near) of the things you are doing by faith.

If you would like to share something on your list, please do so, we would love to hear.

John Maxwell said, "Everything rises and falls on leadership". I buy into that and have been a student of leadership for over 25 years. I was born and raised in Jamaica and reside in South Florida with Edna, my beautiful wife of 25 years. We have one daughter and have gained a son, her husband. I am the president of Robin Lewis Insurance, a full service Independent Insurance Agency. My passion is to inspire and guide others into discovering and reaching their God-Given potential. This blog was created to support that cause. You can expect a new post every week on the topics of Leadership, Personal Development, Insurance Solutions and every now and again some Personal Thoughts. My hope is that we can encourage, strengthen and challenge each other. Your comments are encouraged and welcomed here anytime!

  1. By faith I, Dior Oliver, I am persuing my vision of teaching elementary children and becoming an Evangelist. Everyday I am faced with a different challenge that the things I want out of life won’t happen but I know I’m destined to be successful and happy the right the way. So I have faith.

  2. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

  3. I do have kids. 3 of them, and they all understand that gay is wrong and gross. Now, Matthew 10:13-14, Mark 6:11, Luke 10:11, and Acts 13:51. Refer to those then coniedsr them my sign off on this topic. I like how when you all had nothing left you turned to name calling and bitter personal attacks. The truth I’d on the Bible. Amen.
